The Live Like Justice Foundation was inspired by the vibrant, playful, energetic, life of Justice Chin, a 25 year old local skateboarder who lost his life to an unexpected and tragic brain AVM rupture in 2021. Justice’s happiness was infectious. He was an amazing brother, son, and friend who could always be found smiling. He was deeply loved by our community and his passion for skateboarding demonstrated that he was the kind of guy who wholeheartedly pursued what he loved. He wanted to be an organ donor, and in death, as in life, his foresight and selflessness benefited others as he went on to save and improve the lives of 4 people with his heart, pancreas, liver, & kidney donations, and over 250 people with his eye and tissue donations. In honor of Justice, we dedicate Justice Skatepark in his memory. A place where young people can come to express themselves, learn, grow, and forge lifelong friendships.
The Live Like Justice Foundation’s mission is to provide a safe space for local community involvement, host future projects that bring together community, art, and skateboarding as an outlet for everyone, and inspire others to #LiveLikeJustice in all of their affairs.
